About Us
Origins: Harbour Mastery was founded in 2003 to develop a new generation of interoperable IT solutions that address the need for new approaches to both management and security among maritime industries.
Since 2003 Harbour Mastery has developed a series of solutions to address the variety of operational circumstances for seaports, lake ports, marinas, waterways and canals and for the many types of maritime industries who do business together in those locations.
Harbour Mastery, Inc.: Harbour Mastery is a Nevada corporation headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The company is the publisher of software applications and provider of their own and alliance partner services for managing port traffic, safety, security, billing, accounting, marketing and reporting. Internet-based and LAN-based SQL server applications provide turnkey end-to-end solutions that can be easily customized for any port's or country's requirements.
Global Commercial Standards: For commerce, Harbour Mastery follows standards established by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) codes for vessels and ports provided through a strategic agreement with Lloyd’s Register-Fairplay using their Ships Register® and PortsGuide®. It utilizes the Standard International Trade Codes (SITC), and the International Standards Organization (ISO) codes for country codes and Universal Time Codes (UTC) for international date/time formats.
Maritime & Security Standards: For security, Harbour Mastery follows standards provided by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), International Ships and Port Facilities Security Code (ISPS), Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), and the Containerized Security Initiative (CSI).
